Chichester, West Sussex
We use the same five grades as TCGplayer: Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played, and Damaged. We do not list Mint. Raw singles on this list are Near Mint unless the product page says otherwise.
We do not score cards on a points chart. We look at corners, edges, surface, and whether the card is still sound, then confirm it with you in person around Chichester.
Corners
Sharp, white, or rounded.
Edges
Clean, nicked, or worn.
Surface
Scratches, scuffs, and ink wear.
Structure
Bends, creases, tears, stains.

Light handling only. This is the top grade we use. We do not list Mint.
Raw singles on this list are Near Mint unless the product page says otherwise.
A little wear. You might notice it up close. The card still looks good.
Played a bit, still presents well.
Clear wear. You would notice it without looking too hard. The card is still complete.
Worn enough to see, still in one piece.
Heavy wear. Flaws are obvious. The card is still intact and readable.
A lot of play wear, still readable.
Worse than Heavily Played, or the card itself is affected. We only list this if the product page says so.
Something beyond ordinary play wear.
Graded slabs follow the label. Sealed products are factory sealed, not a played-card grade.
The number on the slab is the condition. We do not recast it as a played-card grade.
Ask if you want a closer look at the slab in person.
The wrap or seal is intact. This is not a played-card grade.
If it is still factory wrapped, it is sealed, not Near Mint.
Condition is confirmed in person at the point of sale. Photos on this site are reference images, not our copy. See the Terms of Use and the FAQ.
