Coastal Cards is committed to making this website usable by as many people as reasonably possible. This statement describes the steps we take, the tools we provide, known limitations, and how to request a reasonable adjustment. It is issued having regard to the Equality Act 2010. It is not legal advice. You should read that Act, and the official text at https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ , for yourself.
This website is an informational stock list. It does not take payment online. Accessibility of an in-person meeting will depend on the premises then in use, including any fair or market table. We are presently establishing a physical premises around Chichester, West Sussex. Until a usual business address is published on the About page, we cannot describe physical access to a shop floor.
Use Accessibility in the header to enlarge text, increase contrast, underline links, or reduce motion. The Equality Act 2010 is not restated here.
We aim to make this website perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, having regard to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That is an aim. It is not a certified audit, a warranty of conformance, or a representation that every page meets every success criterion at all times.
The Equality Act 2010 continues to apply to the provision of services to the public. This statement does not restate that Act. Nothing in this statement excludes a duty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The site uses a skip link to the main content, a language code of en-GB, visible focus styles, and buttons and links that can be operated with a keyboard.
Text and controls are intended to reflow on common viewport sizes. Colour is not the only means of conveying stock state. Product photographs have alternative text derived from the listing.
A dark and a light theme are available. The site respects the prefers-reduced-motion setting of your device for decorative motion, including the home carousel.
An Accessibility control in the header lets you enlarge text, increase contrast, underline links, and reduce motion, and stores those choices in your browser under coastal-a11y. Those choices apply to this site in this browser only.
Dialogs such as Your basket are intended to trap keyboard focus while open and to close with Escape. Forms on Sell to us and search suggestions on the home page use labelled controls.
Open Accessibility in the header. Larger text increases the base font size. Extra contrast strengthens the difference between text, borders, and the background. Underline links draws a line under links so they are not identified by colour alone. Reduce motion stops decorative animation and autoplay of the home carousel.
You can also use your browser's zoom, a screen reader, a keyboard, or an operating-system contrast or motion setting. Our control is an additional aid. It does not replace those tools.
Clearing site data removes the stored choices. The control does not collect a name or contact details.
Photographs are catalogue or reference images supplied to identify the type of item. They are not photographs of our copy. Alternative text describes the listing, not the condition of the physical goods. Fine print on a card scan may remain difficult to read at grid size. The lightbox is the larger view.
Some images are served from third-party hosts. We do not control their servers. If a host is slow or unavailable, a photograph may be missing or delayed.
The stock list is long. Filtering, search, and sort are provided so that you need not read every row. Complex layouts on a small screen may still require scrolling.
The shop TV display at /tv is designed for a large screen in the shop. It is not intended as the main browsing path. Product QR codes on that display may be generated by a third-party service while the screen is online.
Third-party messaging applications, including WhatsApp, calendar applications opened from an .ics download, and any map or social-media site we link to, are outside this statement.
If you cannot use a part of this website because of a disability, contact us using the methods published on the About page and tell us what you need. We will consider a reasonable adjustment.
Examples of help we may be able to provide include reading a listing to you, sending a plain-text list of named items, or arranging an in-person inspection in a way that takes account of what you have told us. What is reasonable depends on the facts, including cost, practicality, and the nature of the service.
We are arranging a dedicated business telephone line. Until that number is published on the About page, we cannot offer telephone contact on an unpublished line.
Accessibility feedback should be sent using the contact methods on the About page. Please describe the page, the problem, and the browser or assistive technology you were using if you know it.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service at https://www.equalityadvisoryservice.com/ , or take such other step as the Equality Act 2010 permits. You should read that Act yourself. This statement does not summarise it.
This statement was reviewed on 11 September 2026 by reference to the current website, including keyboard access, skip link, theme, reduced-motion behaviour, the Accessibility control, Your basket, Sell to us, Events, and home search suggestions. It will be reviewed when the site changes in a material way, and when a usual premises is opened.
We welcome being told if something does not work. Telling us does not constitute an admission of a breach of the Equality Act 2010.
